Description

Two independent pumps that can be connected to independent electrical outlets

VAKE avoids electricity or moving parts underwater

Low electricity consumption saves money and enables more units per fuse

No power spike at start of operation, avoids the fuse goes off after power failure

Safe in shallow water, as drifting debris can pass without risk

Each hose is anchored by four tampers
Two independent and reliable air pumps
Stainless steel holders at the ends
Bubbles are an energy efficient method of pushing warmer water upwards
One hose on each side. No electricity underwater.

VAKE DE-ICER Gen2 Water Circulator with improved performance and energy efficiency

VAKE DE-ICER Water Circulator with the latest upgrade of our well-proven and highly reliable VAKE DE-ICER Water Circulator.

This new version is equipped with even more powerful and energy-efficient pumps, which, just like before, use our unique bubble technology to keep the area around boats and docks ice-free during the winter. New in this version is also an intake filter that is better protected against precipitation.

New and improved features:
• Two independent compressors: Ability to connect the compressors to separate power outlets for extra safety and flexibility.
• Safety underwater: VAKE avoids having electricity or moving parts underwater, ensuring safe operation.
• Energy efficiency: The low power consumption not only means lower costs but also allows more units to run on the same fuse.
• No power surge at startup: Prevents the fuse from blowing after a power outage, ensuring reliable and stable operation.
• Designed for shallow water: Safe operation even in shallow water, as floating debris can pass freely without getting stuck.

VAKE DE-ICER FOR BOATS USE BUBBLE TECHNOLOGY TO KEEP ICE-FREE AROUND BOAT AND DOCK

VAKE DE-ICER Water Circulator has been developed with the safety of winter boat storage and dock protection in mind. With high reliability and a robust design, VAKE Water Circulator offers long-lasting and worry-free operation. The dual pump configuration with separate power supplies provides extra safety through redundancy, ensuring the system continues to function even if one pump fails. Thanks to the absence of propellers, the risk of debris being sucked in and causing a shutdown is eliminated.

How Vake De-icer works

Vake is the most reliable and economical choice for winter boat storage in the water, without moving parts or electricity in the water, and with low power consumption. It uses two independent 90W air pumps that run year-round, hanging with hoses under the boat to create a warm water flow around the boat. The pumps are connected with separate cables to power outlets for maximum safety.

The story behind Vake

Vake was developed after issues with traditional water circulators using electric motors underwater, leading to failures due to water leakage into the propeller motor. Air compressor technology has been used for a long time, including by the Swedish military, but for whole harbors. Vake combines this proven technology with high reliability and low power consumption and offers it for boats or docks.

Made to last

The membrane in the air pumps lasts at least 18 months with continuous operation and should be replaced every 5-6 years. Comparable to the service on a drive unit. By storing the boat in the water, you avoid the work of lifting it out in the fall and launching it in the spring, allowing you to enjoy the boat longer.

Many harbors are shallow Vake is especially effective in shallow harbors, where traditional propeller-based de-icers risk sucking up debris from the bottom. In addition, the two air pumps can be powered by separate outlets, which increases reliability in case of power outages or cable issues.
